Heartride Labradors

Our Goal is to Raise Quality Labrador Retreivers
We raise typically one litter of Labradors per year. We train and compete our dogs as a hobby that we find is a rewarding way to enjoy our dogs. We strive to achieve those qualities that make a good companion starting with good health, temperament, and a nurturing environment. All of the puppies are raised in our home. Heartride Labradors is an AKC registered kennel and an AKC Breeder of Merit.
We are members of the Labrador Retriever Club (national parent club, www.thelabradorclub.com), Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac (www.lrcp.com), Labrador Retriever Club of the Chesapeake (www.chesapeakelabclub.com), and the Rappahannock River Retriever Club (www.rrrclub.com).
Health Clearances
All of our dogs used for breeding have health clearances first. Orthopedic Foundation for Animals lists clearances under each dog's name (www.offa.org).
Expected Litters
"Mickey"/Heartride's Trouble with the Curve CGC had an all yellow litter in early January. JJ/Heartride's Winning Colors SH CGC had a black & yellow litter also in early January! Both parents of both litters have extensive health clearances. Beauty & Brains!
